“Not a lot. It’s too cold to do much.” He chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess. Did you hear anything about what happened with Atlas and Mist? I told him to go talk to her earlier and I haven't heard anything since. I just was hoping they had settled down in a burrow together or something." She said with a concerned face.
Nightshade trotted towards the voices. The trees thinned and more of the golden light of late afternoon pierced through.
Nightshade saw something shoot through the grass in front of her. She slammed a foot down on the mouse, killing it. She ate it with a few tears of her beak.

"Should we go check? I'm sure I should probably stop incubating this non-fertile egg anyways." she chuckled. She kinda wished she could hatch chicks already though.

(Mine haven't got the chance to. My turkeys started to chase after one that the cat was playing with but it ran away.)
