*The Lovely And The Ugly* A wild Chicken RP 2

Snails hopped up next to her. She tucked her wings in and puffled up her feathers, causing dust to fly into the air. She then scooted closer to Golden to keep warm.
Golden was a very bubbly social bird, but most did not take to her super energized nature. It warmed her heart that she actually found someone who tolerated her.

Snails snuggled into her friend once more before dozing off.
Golden stroked Snails’ back feathers with her beak, that’s when she realized just how dirty her new friend really was. She thought the least she could do for her was help her become a little more comfortable by removing some of the hard scratchy muck. She began at her preen gland, moving some of her natural oils to loosen up the dirt.

Snails didn’t really notice. She was still sleeping. She thought it was just another one of those pesky bugs that would sometimes crawl on her.

“It’s not. But thanks. For your information, I will still be keeping my eye on you. But I will have Fern be my voice of reason, consulting with her before coming to any conclusions.“ Titan said.

”Fern, can you do that for me?” He said, looking at her beautiful eyes. He knew Fern was wise and level headed, far less likely to jump to conclusions than his hot headed, stubborn self.
Fern nodded.

Lucky was back in her burrow thinking about the things that had happened. Nightshade seemed like a nice hen but there was something off about her. How did she know exactly what was wrong with Dahlia right after it happened. There was no way a chicken has enough time to run to her and tell her what happened plus she diagnosed what was wrong with Dahlia and offered a cure before she even looked at the chick.

(Actually, at that point everyone knew Dahlia had eaten a spindleberry lol)
