It looks cute , but it must hurt, her back is full of pin feathers, because she started moulting the week after they hatched , but Mardi jumps up there all the time . In the last few days she's been walking around when he jump on to cox him off . But some times she just gives up and stands there

I haven't noticed it bothering her till today . She didn't want to stand on one foot this morning because a pin feather was coming through right near the bottom .
When I pick her up she feels like a pin cushion, so when I carry her I try to just let her roost on my arm rather than me holding her . Or I just pick up the babies and she follows me .
