Fabulously fun coop.

I just had to comment on this:

"There is a way you can put moss on a structure like that. I think you collect moss, put it in the blender with buttermilk and paint that mixture where you want moss to grow. Keep it moist and shady for a week or so by spraying it with water, and the moss will start to grow where you painted on the buttermilk moss milkshake starter culture. That might be a nice way to give mystery and magic to any shed. You could do the roof and walls." --

I had read about this and wanted to moss up some clay pots. I read you could also use yogurt. So I did one pot with buttermilk and one with yogurt. I put them in a shady spot in our yard where moss is already growing around. I left them there the appropriate time. It has now been over 2 years and they are probably the only 2 pots in my yard that do NOT have anything growing on them!
