The Mealworms worked! (lots of pix)

My chicks used to be terrified of my hands.

I have hand fed them mealworms TWICE to get them more friendly.

Apparently it worked!

When I put my hand up to their run:

This is my RIR cockerel that I've known was a baby roo since day 1. He's showing the very first signs on pink on his comb today, but it doesn't really show in the pix. He needs a name besides "baby roo"

First time they've tried this:
This is "Runty" he's another cockerel, but the smallest, loudest, and most active of the bunch. His comb hasn't started developing color yet.

Glad it worked for you. I'm not the squeamish type, but I can't stand the feel of the mealworms in my hands! Come to think of it, I don't like the way they smell either.
