The Meaning Behind your BYC Screen Name

It's a beautiful name that I love. I considered it as a name for my daughter but didn't like the meaning.
This way, as a username, I can still enjoy it.
The end.

Very nice!

Well I had no idea it would be used like it is...I thought I was just creating a username for login purposes.
would LUV to change it but seems like not an easy thing to get done...so I'm stuck with my old username I've used for 30 years...LOL
I think you can just request it from your profile settings to be changed.

I’m not allowed to say where I live or my age or my real name or anything :barnie
As frustrating as that can feel, it's a good idea when using social media. It's pretty easy to track someone down with little tidbits of information. I don't use my real name, age, or where I love other than a general half of a state.

^^^^^^^ THIS RIGHT HERE ^^^^^^

There are plenty of people out there on the innertubes who are up to no good collecting people's private info. Everywhere you go , you leave a little breadcrumb trail that a bad guy can follow along and scrape up a pretty complete picture of who you are from. Protect your identity on the internet like it's literally your life, because if you don't, some dillweek will ruin it for you. It's like the American wild west. There's only as much law on the internet as communities are willing to put into it. Outside those boundaries, there be monsters.

Sorry if that sounds like doom and gloom, but it's part of my job to scare people about the dangers of information sharing on the internet.

Oh trust me, I’ve been told all my life. I wouldn’t say my age in years or the town I live in or my full name. But I’m not allowed to say the state I live in and I’m not even allowed to say if I’m a kid or an adult. AND I go by a nickname and I can’t say that or even my first initial

Met and married my husband when I moved to the south, single, footloose and fancy free. He is a country boy. So, when we started attempting to build a homestead I thought about him (he's all into that sort of thing); his personality, and I came up with Hip Hillbilly Farm. Now I know the difference between a farm and a homestead; anywho . . .

Now we attempting the same thing here and I call us Hip Hillbilly Acres. I need to update my name here; not sure if I can at this time because it was changed to "Farm" from whatever I initially joined with. But Hip Hillbilly Acres would be my last change - it fits so well.
