Thanks all! I replaced the potentially dangerous bulb with a 60 watt halogen, until I can get the right one....(tomorrow) the room is warm and the bulb is hot, hopefully they will be okay until then! City girl do you have any americauna hatchlings? Or fairly young?

Yuppers 9 out of 11 on the first. The second is due Monday but.... So many didn't make it early on or weren't fertile "sigh" such as shipped eggs. The air sacks were terrible they were packed great. I blame usps :-/

Thanks Donna! That will work great. Let me confirm which day the teacher prefers and I will coordinate coming out to pick them up.
We have a marans that we got from you a couple of years ago. She is my favorite of our five girls...so sweet and very pretty.
