Anyone have a pic of Hooded merganser eggs? I found a few eggs today and am not sure if they are the hoodeds or not. I have seen the hooded going into that box a few times but the pen has mandarins and smew in it as well (the smew are first year birds so it is doubtful they are smew eggs).

Hooded are a whitish egg that is almost completely round and larger than a Mandarin egg. Mandarin will be a duller white & more oval.

, I got some elliots too. Still no eggs except my regular woodies both my hen mallards. Hopefully your boys did their thing bebore they molt all the way.

Ok, i've done it. I have created a monster. Muahahaha.

I have "accidentally" got my "adopted" brother hooked on the ornamentals. and apparently has been bugging his mom for quite some time now and she finally caved and is going to let him get some birds. ..........oops
