Ok, I sent my fed. Permit app. At the end of September, should I have heard anything by now?

boo hoo was hoping for Hottentots. Well 3 of the first 4 hatched and tonight I have 2 pips out of the other 4 eggs that started a week later. Looks like I will be having Brazilians coming out my ears as I have a trio already

o.k if they are Brazilian are they all females??? The hens have the white mark at the base of the bill and the drakes don't.
ugh have all 4 pipping on the second set of eggs.

at this point, you'd just have to vent sex them to see for sure

well 2 were dead in the shell after pipping so i pulled the other 2 out. 1 bled to death grrrrr and the other is weak but still alive. I just don't understand why the couldn't get out. The shells were not hardly hard at all, actually kind of soft. Makes no sense. I had to pull the first 3 out last week but didn't have any problems with them
