Yes, I have a lot of juvenile Silkie poulets just beginning to lay and one of mine laid an egg of similar size about a month ago!

It's a yolkless eggs (aka fart egg). I get a couple a year especially when the pullets start to lay. Cute aren't they??

I've gotten them before. It freaked me out a little the 1st time too. I actually carried mine around in a padded pill bottle just so I could show everybody. You probably won't get them often.

I got a couple of those recently from my 2 year old serama - they weren't yolkless and I hatched them. Now I have two micro chicks with big attitude.
