Well it's been a while since we've seen our smallest white hen, but she has a reputation of going broody, so we knew she would show up sometime soon. Two days ago we were looking in the top level of our barn and come to see this...

Oh, there you are How many are under you?

4 babies and some eggs

cute babies

EEEEEE

Blurry, sorry!

Soooo, in summary I have MORE baby chicks. Yay!!!!!!!

yeah that makes a lot of baby chicks here! I have 9 ameraucauna chicks, 4 mix, 9 cochin older chicks, one serama pullet, 5 older Ameraucana chicks, and 6 quail chicks. WOW, it's hard work.

They are definitely a lot more work than I expected! That little blue/silver baby (3rd picture) looks just like my lavender orpingtons I just hatched last weekend. Considering quail next!

I'm glad you are considering quail. They are really fun and I love their eggs.
