Do you let them fly around. I have always wanted them but the way I have my flocks property set up it's open other than fencing and I'd be worried they would fly down to the river. I've had a few Muscovy fly down and it's not easy getting them home. So they get a wing clipped.

No these don't get to run amuck. I've had them before that were totally free ranged. They could really fly but I never had a problem with them really straying far.
I have free range muscovies so I know your pain. Mine also made a trip or dozen down to the big creek.
I had three disappear one fall and ended up finding two of them the next spring. They vacationed down the road on a neighbors back pond.

Wow that's amazing you found them. I've always been able to get mine home, but sure isn't alot of fun wading through the river trying to convince them if they stay down here they won't last long.
