The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Lol I didn't know and it never clicked.
I'm slow like that.
D@mn we go way back.
Hehe yeah. Instead of Amer it was changed to AMER so the “formerly AMERAUCANAS4REAL” title said “formerly AMER.”
I don’t breed Ameraucanas any more and haven’t for a while so I decided to change it to what most people called me on here.

What variety do you have? And are they crossed with other breeds for new patterns?
Sorry if you already said... I'm not reading 115 pages XD. I have a white leghorn pullet and cockerel, I love the pullet, she is my favorite. But Tino is mean. Also from the pic, how close to show quality would you guys say my cockerel is? The pullet Deffidently isn't even close, considering her pale legs and 3 sidesprigs.

He isn’t show quality. Leghorns have a very recognizable sweep to the tail out of the center of their back into the tail. Your boy has a flat back with a sudden 90 tail. This buff which obviously isn’t my pic doesn’t have a fully developed tail, but it does have that classic sweep.

Thank you for taking the time to get through the thread. And for the kind words.

Moonshiner how's that incubator build coming along?
I'll have to get some pics tomorrow.
I put the thermostat at the bottom and it seemed to be pretty steady from top to bottom. I think it was less then a degree difference. I need to put some turners in there and see how much that changes the air flow.
If its good to go I just need to bundle some wires and tie them up and maybe pretty up the thermostat and light mounting.
Just a couple small things besides that. I want to add a dimmer switch to the bottom fan to be able to adjust its power.
Idk. I'll probably do some test hatching in a week or so. I've slowed down hatching. Running out of chick space and going through more then two bags of feed a day.
Need to sell off some access cockerel lol.
