LOL!!!! I forgot what cool was a long time ago! I was actually catching up a little on this thread and updating my bee thread. It doesn’t take long and you realize months have passed. I got my 5 year badge and didn’t even know it. I’ll also have to quit telling all my chicken stories in PMs.

Not much progress on getting more birds together today. Redid my last door on the pens that I was raising the doors on. Routed and ran some garden hoses. I have a few pens away from most so I like using spliters and have hoses to each area.
Washed more little rubber water bowls. Cleaned and redid nest boxes. I had mud when it's getting trafficked into nest boxes. Just a bouncing around doing odds and ends day for chickening. Oh ya I made a feed run and bought Jack stands that I ended not needing. Or not needing just yet but I'm sure a day is coming.
Also I have enough eggs to set. Maybe tomorrow I'll do that. Thinking maybe I should go ahead and set 30 and then maybe 12 in another incubator.

Sounds like a productive day!! We have been battling mud also. The rain has it extra super swampy here. My husband put straw in all the pens today.

Woohoo!! Can’t wait to see your chicks in 3 weeks!

Hey hey hey hey hey… it is plenty cool in here now alright. lol. I have just been reading through the thread and it feels like I know all of those people now from reading old posts, so its kinda sad they’re not still on the thread. That’s all. Its weird to miss people you have never met. Maybe I am just a nut job? That is pretty probable.

The Brown Leghorn chicks are taking their slow sweet time hatching. 5 pipped now and one is pipped at the wrong end.
