I would hate to be the aunt who ate my nephews’ chickens though. They will probably just take up real estate until they pass on.

Silkie honestly tastes better than other chickens. It's a bit sweeter.

My d'Anvers are sort of pets? Being ornamental and all that. But they're pets that I will cull with only a little remorse.

I’m afraid they are off the menu. My nephews will miss them when they come to visit if they aren’t here. Do Silkies do well free ranging? I have minimal experience with them, and my experience was years ago when I was in high school.

Are Silkies real chickens though? I saw some YouTuber calling hers cats…and putting little overalls on them…and giving them a bath in the sink. So I’m suspicious
