Bounced around yesterday like a crackhead trying to split life stuff with getting some chickening done.
Just quite a few small random stuff accomplished. Seems I'm always terrible at the end of season so come spring things are still a mess. Might not do any better this year but at least I'm thinking about it.
Brooders will start to empty soon so gonna try to stay on top of them and as soon as one is done power clean it and wait for the next one. None of the chick water founts will be used and neither will most of the chick feeders. Gonna collect those eventually and drag them to work to use the good power washer on them. That should be much better then soaking and scrubbing.
Also do the same with the cut down bucket parts that go with those. I use multiple sizes for different ages so I want to organize and inventory those so I can add needed sizes for a good selection and easy access come spring.
Biggest chore I'm not looking forwards to now is breaking up all the breeding groups. That means lots of adults learning to live together again. Need to thin some. Only wanting one rooster pen and one probably two hen pens.
Then it'll be the grow outs. Hate that since it'll mean many will have to go.
Tried to take a few pics yesterday but of course after about 12 failed pics I got the your damn phone is out of memory, please delete a bunch of cr@p before trying to continue.
I'll see if I got at least one decent pic to post today.
