They're quail and a variety pack. Idk quail genetics and the varieties have exploded over the last several years. I'm behind in that game so fun fun.

I'm starting to develop your problem of not wanting to sell my chicks... Not good for my break even plan

RIRs on the way in about a week and a half, unfortunately they are the only thing I have laying at the moment. Everything else I have are babies at the moment. The ones that have hatched the last couple of times have been really strong and energetic though. The roo and the three hens are fairly good representations of their breed. Can't get anything from the local auction at the moment because of the bird flu, they won't sell anything. Maybe what I am currently raising can provide me an outlet for my energies...

Moony, do you do anything to market your leghorns? Or just send them off and see what you get? I'm struggling to find anyone wanting my hens for amy amoumt of money since they're not considered dual purpose

No. Chicken auctions aren't anything like horse auctions. People that know just about nothing show up and pay pennies on the dollar for chimkins. Most probably couldn't name 5 breeds.
