Way back at post 420 or somewhere we started with a play along with a project.
Silver duckwing rooster over 55 (gold duckwing with barring and mottling.
Here's two chicks I hatched.

And just a random hillbilly moment of my day.
Ever find grass growing on your lawnmower?

Guess there's something ironic about this but more so just seemed pretty hillbilly to me so thought I'd share.
So I've been mowing some pasture area and using the push mower so not to tear up the rider.
Of course I tore up the push mower.
Lost a bolt and muffler fell off. Figured good chance to take a break for couple days and buy a bolt sometime when I go to town.
Well can't honestly say how long a couple days turned into since I've been broke and busy and just never got to it.
Think its been 2 or 3 weeks.
Went out today to take the remaining bolt out so I could match it and found grass has started growing on the mower now.
Guess I should fix the mower.

I have read through quite a bit of this thread and love all the great new colors. I was thinking of trying to work on a Mille Fleur Leghorn using a brown leghorn male and 2 Swedish flower hen females. Not sure if this would work very well or not but might be fun to try.

I'd have to get back to you on that.
Honestly don't exactly know or even know where they're at at this point.
I've got 4 grow out pens going for the younger ones and everyone mixed together.
I've been toe punching so hard to know which are which with some of the simular ones without catching them and checking toe webs.

Whew! Finally read through all of this one, too! Hope rebuilding is going ok, @The Moonshiner . Any updates on where you're at with your various varieties?
