The Moonshiner's Leghorns

I'm still working on it. The plan was easy but the birds haven't cooperated.
Andalusians have slate legs. The first cross I used a male leghorn over Andalusian hens. That gave me white legged pullets that carry one gene for yellow skin.
I crossed back to leghorn male which should of given 50/50 chance of yellow legs. Continued always going back to a leghorn so guaranteed a yellow skin gene from that side and the other side of course was split for yellow skin so a 50/50 chance.
It took a few generations to get any with yellow legs. But yellow is recessive to white so once it shows up you know its pure for it.
Ive got a couple different directions I'm going so ive still got some that show white and are split so at the end of next season I want to only go forward with yellow shanked birds.

That post deserves another...
