As in, what do I need to look for when buying fertile eggs?

My single red leghorn starting to feather out! Do they normally have white feather tips on their wings though?

Google them.
Exchequer should have more white then mottled birds like Anconas.
Ideal here is said to be around 50% of each. Mine have gotten more white with age so young adults can be a bit heavier on the black.
Unlike Ancona etc. They should be more patchy looking instead of just white tipped feathers.
A lot of mine have pure white and pure black tail feathers.
If you have your eye on some post pics.
Too bad you're a damn Brit I think I'm gonna have more then I'll need in a few weeks.

A are probably more to the standard but damn I like B.
Either would work.
Are there some white shanks in there?
We have an issue here apparently with white shanks. They need to be yellow.
