This is GOOD READING-
The blue partridge color is a difficult-to-breed color that we rarely see. The color is similar to partridge, except that all black has been replaced by blue. The gold and yellow parts also become slightly lighter due to dilution from black to blue. It is not easy to breed beautiful even blue batches in these animals, often there is white or black in them. An enormous challenge for the go-getter enthusiast. In the hens, we often miss the ground color on the back. The ridges show a rather even blue in that case. If we imagine this animal in the common partridge color, then the backs were black. You could say a blue sooty ridge. Especially with blue partridge, we will have to breed with roosters that show a very weak blue neck marking.
The blue partridge color is not purebred. If you breed with a blue partridge rooster on blue partridge hens, about half of the offspring will be blue partridge, a quarter partridge and a quarter red-shouldered white. If you cross a partridge with red-shouldered white, which has arisen from this cleaning, you will get 100% blue partridge offspring. (see diagram)
