The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Really all I worry about is keeping roosters and older cockerels separate from young pullets.
But I do have adult birds I'm not using for breeding in separate pens. Not out of necessity really it just worked that way because they're my two biggest pens and one is more secure then the other so I put the roosters in the less secure one.

But the sidelined males all are held together? Not individually?

Yep.
Back in the spring I moved all the males into one pen.
There were about 5 that were getting picked on enough I had concerns so I threw them out and into the pig pen to live.
Everyone else has been fine and I've swapped some in and out and added a few from spring hatches.
I've sold off probably half or more so in a month or two I'll be throwing a bunch more from this year's hatches in there.

What breed of pigs do you keep? (Blue-butts, crossbreds, Hampshire, Berks, Yorkshires, Duroc, etc.)?

Just curious.
