Day 10 candling of my 3 questionable eggs shows they are no good. 3 out of 57 is pretty good. Now we wait to see how many quit right before hatching. That’s the one that really blows my mind.

I'd like to buy some leghorn hatching eggs too so I can hatch some baby chicks in memory of my dad! (his birthdays today!)He loved leghorns!

The little ones moved out to the big brooder today. Each one wasted no time taking a huge dump immediately!

They needed to christen the brooder properly. Look at those cute little feathered feet though.

I've heard good things about the 360 but that small capacity kills me. 22 eggs?

I do like my NR360. I usually only use it for things like Seramas, or if I have something I don't want getting mixed up in the big hatcher, like project Blue Silver-laced chicks. Or for example, the partially incubated Chocolate Orpington eggs that are in there now. I wanted to keep an eye on them so if they started doing anything weird or pipping I could see. Of course, one exploded (first time for everything I suppose), so I still need to clean that up.
