@Chookwagn how many grown birds do you have and what kind of capacity are you capable of?

By capacity I'm guessing you mean incubator capacity??

2x 36 egg
1x 54 egg
1x 7 egg

My problem is, I’ll be at capacity on grown bird space. Then I look at my empty brooder and empty A-frame (next step after brooder) and think, “man I got lots of space to hatch more chicks!” 12 weeks later ole WallyG is in a bind!

Well put it this way.... last Saturday 25 chicks hatched... I have 10 left

I have 3 small grow out cages and a set up for a trio or quad empty at the moment

Oh all right then I was going to start getting real creative

Leghorns; 10 hens and 3 roosters

Cochins; 6 hens 6 pullets 2 roosters

OEGB; 3 hens 1 rooster

Sebrights; 4 pullets 1 rooster

That is the answer
