All LeghornsGame hens in there?
Dun/khaki is not the same as chocolate genetically.I’m currently in the process of reading this thread through, so apologies if i’m missing anything, but I understand you had a failed chocolate leghorn project? Were you introducing Dun/Khaki or recessive chocolate? Have you ever thought about starting the project up again?
Also, do you still do blue leghorns? From the early photos, they looked very pretty
I’m aware. That’s why I said or. Dun produces the same color as recessive chocolate though, so I was just trying to clarify because when somebody says chocolate I don’t automatically know which they mean. They look the same.Dun/khaki is not the same as chocolate genetically.
Sorry to ask, but do you have any photos of the blue gold duckwings or blue silver gold duckwings? They sound like an especially nice color to look at.I used recessive chocolate (sex linked)
I would start it again if I had a bird that was chocolate.
I wouldn't want to mess with Dun/Khaki. I don't like the look as much and since it breeds like BBS I'd rather not have that in two projects. Sex linked would be more appealing.
Yes I'm still working with blue. My favorite ATM.
I'm working on......
Blue
Blue mottled
Blue gold duckwing
Blue silver gold duckwing
