Cross to the Phoenix to get the tail genetics and keep breeding back long tailed males to Swedish Flower females, each successive generation will be more Swedish Flower. Once you fix that, breed towards longer tails and only breed your project birds together, selecting towards long tails. Longtailed genes are fairly simple, compared to what makes up the shape and size of a breed.

Depends on what color you want?

Breed to a different Swedish Flower hen each time if you want to bring in more variety.

Both do, but it’s easier to see on males.

In the first generation it doesn’t really matter but in others it should be a male SwedishxPhoenix mix.
