With 256 chicks I'm sure I can find a way to mess it up. I've never seen the comb calculator on there.

If you do hatch 256 chicks for this project, it shouldn't take much more than 4-5 years to get some good birds.

Get some silkies and have them hatch for you. Just throw feed at them until they're old enough to get rid of most

Absolutely not. I have no problem hatching eggs. I don't want to raise that many trash birds to get to where they need to be.
