Speaking of, have you ever had pigeons?

My daughter did. She had tumblers and rollers or some nonsense. They were free range but never left the property. I didn't care for them but they were fun to watch fly.

I often forget I am in my 30s, but my knees and the 20-something-year-olds remind me. One of them asked me if I had menopause yet. I replied through gritted teeth, trying to be nice with "not quite yet."
