Go gen X! I'm closer to 50 but still some times think like I'm in my 20s or 30's.

Yeah and when I’m hiking my knees tell me otherwise, not so much when ascending, but when I’m descending, my knees don’t appreciate the descent.

That’s a Legbar cockerel chick. See his blurred chipmunk markings and big white headspot? Some of my cockerels hatch more golden looking like that, and those end up looking more Crele Legbar than Cream. But there is a lot of variability in the color of the male hatch down.

And wild type hens are very pretty also.

They are pretty. Very demure. The color pattern helps our wild type game hens that free range hide their little sneaky weed nests better.

Wild type is why I'm doing Silver Ameraucana. Going to eventually use my Golden Phoenix over them to get a gold variety out of them.

I bet the longer tails on the Silver and Golden Ameraucana project birds will look amazing.
