I bought another brooder box from Amazon that arrived today, so I'll have 2 now to put chicks in when I get some of those Leghorn hatching egg's.

Set a test batch of 9 eggs to see what the fertility is like.

My 4 eggs hatched.
3 were from crele pen and 1 buff.
The 3 crele were hatched when I woke up. No pip on the Buff. Worked 10 1/2 hours today and it was hatched when I got home.
Been a bit of a pattern where the buffs seem to hatch last. That's interesting.

Update to say that raccoons do, in fact, love Moon Pies! It took two nights but just a bite of Moon Pie was enough to entice him into the trap. I’m sure the remaining pie will last another ten years or six raccoons, whichever comes first.

I think a raccoon is my spirit animal. I love moon pies and I’m a night shifter.

Glad you got it! I think we have neutralized the varmints taking chickens here as well.
