Bought 12 ended up with 15. I think it was 2 extra legbar cockerels and 1 unknown extra welsummer.

Blue Crele.. I need!!Those gold duckwing looking ones has one from the crele pen. Think that's the last eggs I set from it. It's been now switched to a blue crele pen. Still only males will be crele and only one barring gene but half should also have blue.
The rest are from my blue gold duckwings. Quick scan looks like lots of BGD, and few GD. 2 splash GD.
And 1 measly buff this hatch.
I need something to produce crele pullets but don't have anything. He is so cute!! I need!
Can't wait until I get my Crele project farther along. I hate waiting!![]()
Ya they should look good.Blue Crele.. I need!!![]()
We are in the same boat. The game cam is quite a ways from the coop (maybe a quarter mile) but he has been locking the chickens up for me at night anyway. I am not worried about it. I don’t think the bear will wander down this far and I can’t imagine it going after chickens unless it’s desperate. I have more experience with grizzlies than black bears though so maybe I’m wrong. I have never known anyone who lost chickens to a bear. Feed, yes. Actual chickens, no. Have you had black bears go after your chickens?hubby has caught a big Black Bear on one of the game cameras that has been coming to his deer plot
You guys are freaking me out. No bears here and I don't want any here. You all are like no big deal and I've been sitting here watching "I Was Prey" for days. Bear attacks in probably 1/2 the episodes. We are in the same boat. The game cam is quite a ways from the coop (maybe a quarter mile) but he has been locking the chickens up for me at night anyway.
