You guys are freaking me out. No bears here and I don't want any here. You all are like no big deal and I've been sitting here watching "I Was Prey" for days. Bear attacks in probably 1/2 the episodes.

bears are like a big stupid puppy thats not well socialized
if you leave them alone you will be fine
if you leave an electric fence for them, the critters will be fine.
if you go pet them you might get swiped or killed. humans arent really bears ideal prey. they are omnivores, which means they love eating rotten carcase and berries and fish and chickens and eggs and all host of other defenseless things. you are the lowest priority to a bear
just dont skritch them behind the ears without permission

Watch the Werner Herzog documentary about Timothy Treadwell. It will make you feel better. It took him years living every summer in a tent in grizzly country to get eaten. The situation really has to be right for a bear to kill a human. I’m not speaking for polar bears though. Pretty sure they will eat a human and pick their teeth with a leg bone…

I've watched a few shows about him. He was just asking for it. Maybe bears are like native Americans and don't bother with crazy people, idk.
I felt bad for his girlfriend though.

Definitely a good harvest especially being my 2nd year making any kind of honey.

I made that stand the other day for two brooder tubs. They're not the same. One is wider, longer and quite a bit taller then the other. Not a big deal just a lot more room then the one needed.
But hey I scored this on way home off marketplace. It's an exact match to the bigger one. Gonna look sweet with side by side matching ones and bonus another brooder.

Well to be fair on a different episode dude tried to shoot a bear and shot his buddy in the thigh.
I've seen several where someone said I was afraid to shoot cause I might hit so and so. I kept thinking it's a bear. It's big, how would you miss hitting it. Idk but I've decided I'd just rather stay away from bears altogether.
