I thought my goat was pregnant one time. We had to get rid of the buck she was with because he tried to kill me (true story), and the guy who took the goat said my doe was pregnant. So I fed her a lot and rubbed her tummy and told her how we had to "feed the baby." She loved all the extra feed and attention and was like "yeah feed the baby!!" Plot twist, she was not pregnant, just getting fat.A pregnant goat?
She looks very gravid to me. lolDo you think this one was bred lol
When do Nubians typically come into heat? I have been watching mine and I can't tell. I want to breed her to my neighbor's Nigerian Dwarf. We got her for goat milk, but so far she just thinks she's a dog.Do you think this one was bred lol
Maybe she was in denial. lolThat poor thing held out until the hottest day of the year and had them out in the middle of the pasture at like three o’clock. Dropped them off, didn’t clean them and went back about her life. I cleaned them up and of course then she heard them and remembered she had babies and came bellowing down the hill. I don’t know how baby goats ever become adults.
Most of mine are like that too, minus the Buffs. And the Browns from Don.But, back to leghorns! The ones I hatched are super active and scared to death of me. Makes it easier to eat the roosters.
You mean the uropygial gland?Just so you REALLY know what you're looking for...
