First time I have seen blue gold DW here!

As ratty as he looks

My roosters that we keep in the pens with leghorn hens end up looking like this. It looks like hens have been eating his feathers, or he is molting. But either way, he is a cool looking bird and will feather in really nice.

That’s some good free range raised eating.

Yes, rooster breast meat makes the best chicken and dumplings. One bag will be dumplings, and the other bag I will use in my Thanksgiving dressing. I love to cook and I’m southern so we eat well.
