The little F1 Buff x Incomplete BTR is definitely my favorite in the bunch (means its a rooster and/or it will surely die). It is definitely fully columbian. Its hatch down color is so striking! Look at him now that he has completely fluffed out. He has some lighter buff/silvery areas of color on his down. Cuties.

There are 5 White Leghorn chicks total now to make a grand total of 9. 2 of the WL chicks are still wet in the incubator. It’s looking like only one egg that made it to lockdown won’t hatch. Not too shabby.

I chatter on and on to my husband about genetics and putting this bird with that bird and yada yada. He just mmmhmms and humors me because he doesn’t grasp as much of the genetics stuff as I tend to geek out on. lol
