Looks like we're getting a bit of a warm up. Next 10 days will all get above freezing. Couple just barely. Couple may break 50°. Lots of 40s.
It was 9° this morning so 10 day is looking good.

We are expecting snow the next couple days. High 30’s to 40.

We've still got that last snow on the ground here. Ready for that to melt.
Gloves coming Saturday, that jacket Monday (earliest) and a lined flannel whenever they decide to ship it.
My cold weather wear is going to be showing up so I'm thinking that'll insure mild weather for a minute.

Glad your cold weather gear is on its way! It is snowing here and my son’s school is called off.

a lot of mine I'd say don't start crowing early. Maybe 4 or 5 months. Idk if it's that less dominant boys don't crow around more dominant ones or what with mine.
Maybe he's trying to be incognito cause he's afraid once someone knows he's a male he'll be eaten.

He seems like he's going to be a good boy though, and he's pretty colorful.

My Leghorns start crowing about 4-5 months old also, except for the Buffs who were around 6 months before they started crowing, as the line of Buffs I have are a slower maturing variety.

@The Moonshiner here is a picture of one of the Silver males side by side to a Brown Leghorn pullet. There is about a months difference in age between them. The Silvers are 6 months, the Browns in this group are 7 months.

Boy he's small.

Yes he is, all 5 of my Silvers I currently have are this small. I sure hope he can fertilize the Browns. I need to get some size on the Silvers bad.
