What's going on in here?
Not much chickening here. Work has really went downhill. I feel more normal now days cause it's just become a job. A means to $$$.
Been sick as ell for about 5 days. Missed work on Tuesday and spent almost all of Monday thru Thursday morning in bed. Pretty much all I've accomplished with the birds was making sure they had feed and water.
Got someone looking for some cockerels but I need to sort and separate first. They volunteered to help out but no can do. Can you imagine trusting someone else to sort your good, bad and ugliest? Not I says Moony.
Got some work around the house I need to get back to too. Position note though temps have remained decent especially for January. Don't expect that to last but I just need to get through January and February with any luck. Hope it isn't a lingering winter.

Sorry that you were feeling ill. This crazy weather that has been happening has many sick. We just had a storm pass through yesterday, and there's a warning about freezing temps over night tonight.

I've heard that the LA Nina could transition into LA Nino soon. That would bring more rain here, and more snow in the higher elevations. I guess the snow skiers will love it.

Bummer you’ve been sick!

I got my first Leghorn rooster. He seems cool so far but I haven’t released him into gen pop yet. The other one keeps taunting him through the fence and the Leghorn is twice his size if not more so I’m gonna give it a minute. He’s got a couple hens with him but I’m getting him some Leghorn girlfriends tomorrow.

That's awesome news. Hope everything works out with the sorta out. Can't ever have enough Leghorn owners.

Hope you are feeling better! And no I would never trust someone to sort through my birds so good call there. Our weather has been unseasonably warm this week also. It is nice but as you said, it won’t last and I’m sure it will be bitter cold again before too long.
