Brother has a friend in North Dakota and with wind its going to be close to -60.

I rescheduled my exam for today so I didn't have to postpone it for another week. My nerves could not have handled that. I was barely sleeping and driving myself crazy with worry. The prayers did their thing for sure because I PASSED!!!!

I am officially a Nurse Practitioner!

:wee:celebrate:ya:woot
Congratulations!

Congratulations to @KF0002! I have followed your journey and finally spoke up to say...You go girl!!!! God bless you and all the leghorns:clap
Thank you so much! I appreciate all the support! That is very sweet of you. I am very humbled and so relieved! Now on to job hunting. But first, I'm gonna make a ton of sourdough recipes and paint, and do all the things I've missed doing. 🥰

Woohooo! :wee
I never had any doubt! You are gonna be awesome, praise God!

Whoopee!!
Congratulations, Kayla! And praise the Lord!

Thank you! Yes, praise God indeed! Without him, I could not have gotten through the past 3 years. My husband has held me up emotionally, and God has certainly held me up spiritually. I am overwhelmed with thanks and gratitude, and just so incredibly glad it's over. lol

Congratulations!! Don’t let the storm put a damper on celebrating!

Thank you!! I am not ashamed to tell y'all I have spent the day in my nightgown, basking in my triumph in comfort and warmth. I have fed my sourdough starter and she is doing her thing as we speak, so I'm going to bake a loaf tomorrow. My husband braved the cold and snow to feed all the animals today while I rested. I slept like 11 hours when I finally crashed last night.

I studied for my exam for hours the day before my exam (10/10 do not recommend) because that is the only thing that helped my nerves. So the morning of my exam I woke up with blurry vision and ended up with a migraine. I pushed through and got it done, all 175 questions. Walked out fully poised to have failed, just because it was extremely difficult. I had to make my husband check my results. It has been such an emotional and stressful journey.

Thank you friend! :love

My reaction was a bit more tearful than that. I literally ugly cried in the parking lot of the testing center when my husband checked my results and told me I passed. But today I could dance and scream from the rooftops! 😆
You’re welcome!!!!!!!

We have about 3-4 inches of snow the last I checked, best I could tell. I haven't left the house today. I am hibernating through the storm. lol The worst part will be the freezing rain we are supposed to get. So the worst is yet to come overnight for us I reckon. If I lived somewhere that got to -60 I would perish for certain.
