This is an 02 or 04 Grand Cherokee. Does great in the snow but it's a stiff suspension that I'm not used to. I've heard that's a Jeep thing.

I’ve never driven a Cherokee but my husband says “it’s a Jeep it’s not a comfort car” and he also recommends you never get in an old Jeep if you don’t like bouncing around He has owned lots of Jeeps including old CJs and he let me drive his TJ a few times when we were dating. That’s how I knew he was a keeper. I would think with the longer wheel base the Cherokee would actually be a smoother ride relatively speaking.

I have to add that when my husband let me drive the Jeep for the first time he threw me the keys and said (in his cute Southern accent), “Remember baby, that Jeep don’t run on fairy piss.” I guess he noticed I liked to run my Subaru on fumes.

I had a CJ 5 in my late teens. The perfect vehicle to not have as a teenage redneck. It was so much fun and I was in so many places I shouldn't have been with it.
Had a soft top and I rarely had the doors on it. It learned me that seatbelts were important, lol.
Once I found a backroad that had a sharp left corner. Right off the corner was a huge mud puddle then a huge tree. You could drive straight instead of making the turn and when you hit the puddle muddy water would spray up completely covering the windshield then you had to blindly miss the tree.
I did it several times and thought it was so fun I had to go get my cousin so he could see. I fly off the road, hit the water then swerved. I looked over to see how much fun he was having and the seat was empty. Crazy fool got scared and jumped out of the jeep as we hit the water.
So glad I swerved to my side or I may have ran over him. I still tease him about it.

It was a slow commute but I made it.
My truck either wouldn't have or it would of been scary AF.
Borrowed a Jeep. That was nice and so happy to not been stressed all the way. Took it at 30 mph the whole way just to be extra safe since it wasn't my vehicle. Doubled my drive time just about but worth it.
No work tomorrow and school has already been canceled. Woo-hoo, holing up for the day.

Woohoo!! My son’s school is cancelled too and since my husband works in the same school system, he gets a snow day too! It will be nice for you and your son to get a snow day together. And no driving on slick roads is the best part. Glad you were able to borrow a jeep! That is awesome! Enjoy your day off with your boy!

Finally got that first one, and it was from that tailess silver leghorn one.

I have 2 little rumpless layers and they do very well! One is an olive egger and the other is some other cross. They are unique.

I have spent my evening trying to finish up a watercolor painting I started several months ago. Hopefully I will finish it eventually. I have ADHD and am horrible about starting other projects while I have a dozen unfinished projects.

Thank you! I did put a warm compress on it and it has helped some. Thanks for the warning. So far the drainage is clear.


Thank you as well! The draining has not stopped, but has definitely slowed.

Hopefully it gets to feeling better and the obstructed duct opens up. The official name for it is dacryocystitis.
