Sometimes I add just a tiny bit more water to bring it up. At the start of the hatch between 45 and 50 percent is usually good.

I’m sure you know this already but do you have another hygrometer/thermometer in there besides the one it came with? Cause they can be wrong.

You could, and then after a couple of hours see if it helped to bring the humidity up to where it needs to be at.

The little reservoir wasn’t full—I lifted up the bottle (again) and heard a glug-glug and it filled. It’s at 50% now, eggs are in and I will check it one more time before bed
