the most Awful thing happened!!!!!

my friend's uncle gave him some goose eggs to eat I GUESS and my friend told me he would bring one over to me and we could eat some,,.... me and my friend both didn't know how he got the eggs,,, but turns out my friend came over with 3 eggs ALL three were developing embryos, and one was about to come out, so when i am cracking the egg i notice the this egg has a dead baby goose in it,,,, so i am guessing that since my friend's uncle works at a country club then maybe they have a lake or a pond and my friend's uncle raided the nests for the eggs, and out of the 14 eggs that were given to my friend only 3 weren't developing embryos, and 3 of the 14 were almost full grown chicks about to come out,,,,.....

why do a thing like this, these eggs were obviously being sat on and a few were almost ready to hatch ugh ugh ugh,,,,,,,, the eggs were put in the fridge after being stolen, and the chicks were all dead

I lived in the Philippines for awhile and never got used to all the street vendors selling balut (a fertilized and almost fully developed chicken or duck egg, boiled alive). It's a common "treat" over there. My stomach turned every time I saw it being eaten. At least it never landed in my own kitchen. I'm so sorry. I would have been horrified, too.
