Poor Jersey Gena!

I've got to do a coop clean out soon too and add everything to compost pile. Thankfully I have a nice large clean out door just like you do! It's great that yours is perfect for your tailer. I line up the tractor bucket but have to make a few trips.

I’m definitely thankful that past me had the foresight to measure the trailer when I was building the coop.

This is a fun thread to follow!! I love seeing all the different egg colors when a new girl hits laying age. It's so fun to guess what she'll lay

On Thursday morning I slipped and fell and twisted my right knee. X-ray didn’t show and new bone damage just some arthritis, possible loose bodies, and scar tissue from a previous injury. I’m off work and waiting for insurance to OK an MRI. My wife has taken over chicken chores

This morning I actually feel a lot better. Still not ready to do a full day but I at least fixed myself a cup of coffee. I was limping a bit but I didn’t need the crutches so it’s progress.

Oh man that's rough. I hope you don't need surgery. Rest up!

Sorry for your injury. Hope you continue to improve.

Insurance approval. I miss the days when only our family doctors made these decisions. Sometimes insurance approval is a pain and just causes delays in testing and treatment. I've been there myself. I hope your approval comes quickly.
