The Most Beautiful Cross-Breed of 2010! *With Prize*

This is Maria - Mom is a black copper Marans! I guess you can tell dad is a light Brahma

She's about 2 years old. Don't know weight. She lays medium colored brown eggs and quite often double-yolkers. Her comb is a little bit bigger than a pea comb and her legs are white, not yellow.

Black Bart - He was supposed to be a Jersey Giant, but kept popping out all these beautiful colors. I don't know what he was crossed with. Sadly, we lost him to a fox last summer, but he was a beautiful and huge boy.

I have had people ask me if this female has lavender or chocolate. No .I got three females like this and 4 or 5 of a lighter version. These were f1 between two Red Duckwing Phoenix hens and a Buff Leghorn. There is a dose of dominant white, she is split for Duckwing and Wheaton, she has Di,Mh and Db,the lighter version had Co and/or Cb.Dominant white ,when heterozygous can create a blue- like effect but it is not blue.
