Thanks. Yep, that is my YouTube video. If I spelled it "Americana", it was a typo. His father was a top show quality BLR Wyandotte (so he had nice, clear lacing) and the mother was a partridge Americauna. He is also the prospective grandfather of the chimera. Genotyping will prove that one way or another as soon as the bad weather breaks in Scotland. The University of Edinburgh has been closed! Oh by the way, I quoted what you said about the chimera's prospective parent's and this is what the biologist there said:

"It was interesting to hear what the genetics guy said – not what we were expecting, but if it’s right, it might make the genotype interpretation more straightforward. To be honest, once it gets beyond fairly simple genetics – it makes my head spin!"
