The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

"Sorry," Kyle said, shrugging his toothpick arms. "Once the curse is broken..." he blew air through his lips and made an exploding motion with his hands.

Cam followed Take's example and ladeled a hearty helping of the orange stuff into her own foam bowl and grabbed a spoon. She was about to head towards his table before turning back and ripping off a hunk of brioche. She bit off a bit of it and savored the subtle sweetness on her tongue before sitting down and ravenously consuming her soup.
After a few gulps, the realization dawned on her. "Okay, how am I gonna get home then?"

"Don't kill me," he said. "I plan to call 911 and your parents and get you back to your respective locations."

"So there's no way I can instantly get transported back to Ohio? Great," Cam said, dipping her brioche in the soup and glaring.

“Great, I can totally afford a flight back to Reno,” Clary grumbled, heading up the stairs. She scooped up a bowl of broccoli soup and sat down at an unoccupied table.
Clary choked on her soup. “I’m sorry, what now?” Her eyes narrowed. “And tell them what?”

Fred froze “if you call my mum I’m doomed. I won’t ever see any of you again I will be grounded for life” He whimpered. “Kyle why would you not have a plan you get us out?” Ellie’s asked
"That was my plan," Kyle pointed out.

"Thank you," Kyle said, wiping himself off and appearing to be very uncomfortable from the physical contact. He hated getting picked up.
Kyle turned over the phone and clicked out #911.
When the operator replied, he explained the situation calmly and clearly. A dozen teens were kidnapped from their homes by a man named Will Laurel and hidden in this coffee shop. It was an unbelievable story, but they would have to come anyway, and it held some truth. He already knew that no matter where they looked, they would never find him.
"The police are on their way," he announced. "Would anyone like to call their parents?"
Cam raised her hand before turning back to gulp the rest of the soup.

(Lol its broccoli cheese soup, who doesn't like that?)
Take set his empty bowl on the table, Wait this is happening way too fast.. 911? He frowned at Kyle, getting up to head over to the phone, “We could’ve done this way different, Elias can take these guys home..” he hissed, “Calling the police is literally the worst option” he added as he started to dial Elias’s phone number.

Sitting in the complete opposite side of the coffee shop, Colby spit extremely projectile soup as soon as he realized what phone call was being made. "MR. BECK, WHAT?"

Kipp hurriedly choked down the large mouthful of bread he had and drank the hot soup ignoring the burning.

"I'm outta here!" he said coughing. "The cops can't call my family. You have no idea how they'll react to that!" He said anxiously as he moved toward the door. "I can't be here when the cops get here."

Kyle sighed and slumped against the base of the phone (the receiver had been confiscated by Take) splaying his palms on his thighs and sighing. Sometimes being the adult was so hard. And when Colby used his surname with a big fat mister at the beginning it was so much harder, and he felt like he had to explain his actions, step by step.
"I already explained the situation," he said. "I know you all have better ideas, but this is the best way I can think of. And this way, your absences are more excusable. If anyone here has difficulty getting home, the cost of living for little people is very low. I can afford public transportation if need me, not matter how far you must go."

"Running from Johnny Law?" Cam asked, raising her eyebrow. She finished her soup and stood up, waiting patiently behind Take so she could call her parents.

“Why don’t you ring them and explain everything?” Fred asked

Kipp stopped at the door remembering he wanted to exchange contact info with people.

"No. I- I almost died a few years ago. The person I was with did die. If the cops call my dad..." He trailed off imagining the worst possible out come.

“Why don’t you ring them and explain everything?” Fred asked
"If I call, I won't get a word in at all, he'll yell at me for skipping school Friday." He said leaning his head against the door frame.
