I missed you and was a little worried, too!

I would use the coops in the barn since they are there and the weather is getting warm. Save building projects until the house is done for sure!

When we bought our house we had a room the same color yellow as your living room. OUCH!
And another that was painted black

on the carpet & tobacco stains. Could be worse though. I house I lived in once had bloodstains on the wall where someone had been back-handed into it

That will be such a lovely place and already has soooo much character. I'd definitely have a home inspector go over it carefully. You don't need any more surprises. Especially dangerous ones like bad wiring and such! Or walls falling in because the place wasn't vented properly (that bathroom worries me).

WOw..you lucky duck! That place has SO much potential! A few gallons of paint and new carpet and you'll be golden!! The outside is just beautiful!!
Are you gonna get a horsey??

Ah yes there shall be a horsey or two or three...eventually. The barn needs work before a horse could go in there but....it shall house a couple one day soon...hopefully within the next 12 months.

Lori, it will be great once finished...I am going to use the barn area but I want security tightened up better than a size 24 woman in a size 18 corset!

Well howdy neighbor! I am about 5 min south of Cincy. Your place looks lovely (well, it has lovely bones, the colors are something else, but so easy to fix) I can't wait until we can get a piece of property like that.

You new place is beautiful-the bones of the place are great which to me is a great starting point.
What county is your new place in? I have tons of family in Bracken County(sounds like you are very close to them).
Just take your time and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.
Good luck to you and your family!

Just keep repeating "I can paint that crap over.i can paint that crap over." LOL. Yeah, that is so pretty hideous walls.
The outside of the house is cute though! And the pasture look lovely!

Thank you...I knew I was tolerated around here but I thought loved by only a couple. LOL The older lady who lived here, did so with her grown son, daughter-in-law and two teenaged daughters living upstairs....she stayed in the basement, which is the cleanest room in the house. The daughter-in-law and son were slobs for sure and their teenage daughters were only slightly better. it will take time but it will be great.

Beth, Yeah the work will be worth it in the end.

we can hold the meetings in the NOT yellow diningroom and the livingroom and we can throw hubby out of the Man Cave, use the craftroom/guestroom and put blow up mattresses everywhere. Dellie lovers can make it work. Good weather we can stash folks in the barn too.

Hey, you can put'em in the barn if it's *bad* weather, too!
