Hi all BYC!

I've been noticing a lot of my Silver Laced Wyandotte's feathers have been molting recently. It's strange, it almost looks like she has been killed in the coop. I'm pretty sure that the other hens don't fight her at all, she is besties with the girls who are at the top of the pecking order, and she is above the other chooks. It is just coming out of summer where I live, but the heat is not excessive. No offence to my Wyandotte, but she doesn't look to good with feathers missing.😕 I was also going to start showing her, but I guess not now.

Could somebody suggest something to me please?:frow

End of summer is about the time many chickens molt. Only thing you can do to help regrow the NEW FEATHERS FASTER, is feed more protein in her diet. There are formulated feeds called Feather Fixer, but you can just add additional protein, and accomplish same result.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and :welcome
