Pretty sure he's a roo, but of what breed?











Other chicks in picture are Dark Brahmas and one Jersey Giant of the same age (about 3wks). He has a straight single comb, is very slow to feather out and is smaller than the Giant and Brahmas but still a LF. Chipmunk stripes on his back still. Much darker than the RIR I had last year (and they were dark for hatchery quality).
Spunky but not aggressive.

I would say he is a Easter egger, and he does kinda look like a rooster, his comb is quite large.

Why EE? He doesn't have any of the usual EE traits.

Holy smokes, you're right! Probably still a roo and definitely still gorgeous.

I'll have to see what he grows up like, and I'll likely wind up selling him later this year. Partridge Rocks are so rare that I'd hate to eat him. We'll have to wait and see how well he conforms to standard and just how gorgeous he gets first though . I don't have any other Rocks though he might be an okay spare if something bad happens to the Welsummer roo.
