She retrieved the sheet of paper, stuffing it back into her pocket.

"Right," Jintao rose to his feet a bit more confident than he had earlier. "We'll be there." He nodded his head toward Tay indicating she was coming along. "Jintao," he said. "And yours?"

Now @_-Captain BRM-_ ... did Tay sleep through this all and Jintao catches her up that he got her a ship, or did she mercilessly keep her opinions to herself? :p )
 
"Anyways," Galen began walking to the edge of the deck, "I'll be back in a bit, I wasn't expecting to have to bring my work with me."
he ran the last few steps until he was out in the air. His wings snapped open, catching him before he hit the water and carrying him out into the open water and then up into the morning light. It felt so good to have the wind all around him again, no longer stuck in that stuffy dark cove. He couldn't help but smile.
Putting two fingers together, he blew a piercing whistle that rang out, echoing on the shoreline, calling Quasar, and with that he flew towards home.

The Siren smiled widely, sharp teeth hidden behind the sea-green cloth.
"Nautalis. If you prefer, you may call me Nathalie. I'll see you both bright and early- do sleep if you can, I'll need you on your toes tomorrow."
With that, she turned a heel away from the booth, striding across the empty tavern with graceful confidence, her scarf swishing over her shoulder blade as she moved.
She tugged the heavy door open, setting one foot onto the threshold before turning back to Jintao and giving him a deep nod, tugging the scarf closer to her eyes before slipping out into the chilled night air.
