-The Mythics RP-

(I’m not going to quote every related post, I’ll try to tie them all in as needed.)

Still in the center of the deck, Vhanya shifted yellow eyes from Mythic to Mythic. Galen had leapt lightly from his perch on the crow’s nest and now stood, restlessly spinning a knife in his fingers; she kept a watchful gaze on that knife, he’d proven himself capable of using it.

Her eyes flicked to Ember, who had tensed up again, her red eyes fixed on something out of Vhanya’s vision in the sky. With a rush of wind, another Harpy took Galen’s old place on the crow’s nest.
He spoke with a rollicking drawl, and twitched his head about in a manner not unlike that of a cockerel.

That there’s an odd soul, thought Vhanya.

Ember muttered something under her breath, pinning Vhanya with a questioning stare, and the greasy-haired Phoenix had now scuttled away, a ratty cloak draped over his once-bare shoulders.

Vhanya looked up to the crazed Harpy, “this ship is in fact looking for crew mates… but I’m rather doubtful of you, eh, being in the proper mental state for the job.”

She looked back down to the other Mythics, relishing having returned once again to her role as captain, “what do you all say about recruiting ‘im?“
She dropped her voice in the slightest, to a brisk business-only tone, ” and if you are truly interested in joining my crew, speak now.”

"I don't think," Galen sighed as he let his head fall to one side, "that it should be up to any of us whether or not he joins your ship."
He turned towards Raven, pointing at him with his blade, "but I'd much rather you recruit the crazy fellow than this one."

Raven said nothing but shifted his eyes slowly until they rested on Galen.

Vanya condescended to ask Coal his opinion? And she sounded like she already considered him a part of the crew?
A little of Coal's confidence returned, but not without the temperance of politeness.
"Yes m'am!" said Coal. "It would be an honor to join your crew. And..." he glanced up at the harpy on the crow's nest. "Yeah, he can come along, too."

Without a single flap, Gecko landed on the deck with a thud. With a quirky smile and a hand held out, he said, "I'm-a welly enough mentally, that is." His smile grew bigger as he looked up to the sky. He needed this badly. His mind threatened to pull him away. The prey was still out there- sitting on that boulder perhaps- calling him back to tease. He closed his eyes. The captain was right; he just needed to hide it.
Gecko rose his hand. "I speak!" He looked to the others around him. "And I hope you all speak. It'll ah be fun." His smile looked like mischief but his eyes looked like the trust of a friend.

Gecko's speech sounded like he was having a stroke. Honestly, Coal could relate, though.

"This is insanity," Ember spat, sliding her gun back into its holster and extinguishing her torch with a sharp wave of her hand.
"Join or don't, I don't care, so long as each and every one of you keep your blasted beaks out of my business should you find the nerve to enter my presence in the first place."
The Harpy raked her cold gaze over the odd collection of Mythics, giving the Phoenix a particularly venomous, prolonged glare, before scooping her cloak off the ground with a pointed boot and flicking it into her hand.
Ember turned a heel, striding away from the group toward the edge of the ship as she flung the cape over her wings, stopping sharp at the wooden railing and turning back to fix them all with a hard stare, leaning against the edge of the ship, arms crossed.

I guess she doesn't want to meet me as much as I do her, thought Coal. Oh well, following her had been a profitable venture. He got piracy out of it.

Name: Alexander(Alex) Straylan (idk)
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Species: Human
Physical Appearance: 5'10, average build, light brown eyes, short, wavy blonde hair. Has a small scar above and to the right of his upper lip that gives him a bit of a sideways smirk whenever he smiles.
Personality: Smug and cocky, he can be rather insufferable around others, especially those lower in authority. He has a bit of a self-righteous attitude, but is very cunning, and doesn't allow his ego to interfere with his judgment- it's mostly for show. He doesn't hardly ever show how he really feels about almost everything, not even around his twin brother. More to be RPed later.
Backstory: Alex's father is a high-ranked general in the King's order, and Alex has been working his way to try and live up to his standards his whole life. His mother was killed by a Wyvern when he was 12, and he has despised and hunted Mythics ever since. He is now an officer at the Centaur compound in North State.
Name: Royce Straylan (works lol)
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Species: Human
Physical Appearance: 5'8, a little ripped because otherwise he'd appear insanely useless, blue eyes, wavy red hair, scuffy face.
Personality: Reserved, easily upset but not in an aggressive way. Hesitant. He relies much on Alexander's cunning, but not in a blind manner. He's intelligent. TBD.

(CAP, I FINALLY DID IT, I'M SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG. Now you need to make his twin brother before we submit this to Matty.)

She was starting to GREATLY rethink her decisions as what seemed to be the millionth Harpy dropped from the sky. “Cmon, everyone is stealing my dramatic entrance!”

Lichen folded her wings close to her back, crossing her arms. There was a lot of people here, but she wasn’t about to let them know they made her nervous.
